- 400g yam
- Cooking oil as needed
Seasoning Ingredients
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
步驟
Peel the yam using a vegetable peeler. Be cautious as the yam can be slippery. Use a fork to hold it if needed.
Slice the yam into 1cm thick pieces.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add cooking oil.
Place the yam slices in the pan and start frying. While frying, prepare the seasoning sauce by mixing sugar, soy sauce, and mirin.
Fry the yam for about 5 minutes until one side turns golden brown, then flip to cook the other side.
Once both sides are evenly cooked, pour the prepared seasoning sauce over the yam.
Simmer the yam with the sauce until it thickens, then remove from heat.
Serve warm and enjoy!
