Main Ingredients
- 🌰 70g walnuts
- 200g all-purpose flour
- 11g baking powder
- 🧂 2g salt
- 40g brown sugar
- 🧈 62g cold butter
- 🥛 77g cold milk
- 🥛 Milk for brushing
步驟
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Cut cold butter into small pieces using a scraper until crumbly.
Add cold milk to the center of the mixture and gently fold the flour over the milk using your fingertips.
Once the mixture is evenly moistened, add walnuts and lightly knead the dough together.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and cut it in half using a scraper.
Fold and cut the dough repeatedly (6 times) to create layers.
Roll the dough to a height of 2.5cm and cut into 8 pieces. Place on a baking tray.
Brush the tops with milk and bake at 180°C (356°F) for 15 minutes.
