- Fish - 🐟 2 fillets cod
 
- Seasoning - 🧂 A pinch of salt
 
- Flour - 🌾 As needed all-purpose flour
 
- Oil - As needed vegetable oil
 
- Garnish - 🍋 1/4 lemon
 
- Batter - 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 🌾 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 🌿 1 1/2 tsp aonori (seaweed powder)
- 💧 60 ml water

Cut the lemon into wedges.

Cut the cod into thirds. Sprinkle with salt and let sit for 5 minutes. Pat dry with a paper towel and coat with flour.

In a bowl, mix the batter ingredients (☆) gently until combined.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan to 170°C (340°F). Dip the cod pieces into the batter and fry until cooked through.

Plate the fried cod and serve with lemon wedges.
