    • 3 tbsp mirin
    • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
    • 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • 🍯 1 tbsp honey
    • 💧 3 tbsp water
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • A pinch of black pepper
    • 🧄 3-4 cloves sliced garlic

Wash the chicken thoroughly and place it in a cold pan. Cook over medium heat until both sides are golden brown. Start with the skin side down to prevent sticking.

Slice the garlic and mix all the seasoning ingredients together in a bowl.

Pour the seasoning mixture over the browned chicken. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and cook the chicken as if braising. Turn the chicken occasionally to ensure even seasoning.

Once the seasoning is fully absorbed into the chicken and only oil remains in the pan, the dish is ready to serve.
