  • Noodles

    • 200g glass noodles
  • Vegetables

    • 🥕 1/3 carrot, julienned
    • 🧅 1 onion, thickly sliced
    • 1 handful of chives
    • 2 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
    • 2 handfuls of oyster mushrooms
    • 1/2 red bell pepper, julienned
    • 1/2 yellow bell pepper, julienned
  • Protein Substitute

    • 1.5 sheets of fish cake
  • Seasoning

    • 6 tbsp soy sauce
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 2 tbsp corn syrup
    • 🧄 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 5 tbsp sesame oil
    • A sprinkle of sesame seeds
    • 🧂 A pinch of salt

Soak glass noodles in lukewarm water for 1 hour.

Rinse soaked noodles 2-3 times and drain well.

Prepare and wash all vegetables.

Julienne carrot, bell peppers, and fish cake; slice onion and shiitake mushrooms; tear oyster mushrooms; chop chives.

Mix soy sauce, sugar, corn syrup, sesame oil (3 tbsp), and garlic powder to make the sauce.

Layer vegetables in a large pan starting with onion and carrot, followed by bell peppers, oyster mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and fish cake.

Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the layered vegetables.

Place glass noodles on top and add 8-10 tbsp of water.

Cover the pan and steam on medium-low heat for 15 minutes.

Add the prepared sauce and mix gently for 1-2 minutes on low heat.

Add 2 tbsp sesame oil and chopped chives; mix lightly.

Sprinkle sesame seeds generously and serve.
