Main Ingredients
- 🐟 3 flounder fish
- 🥗 1/2 daikon radish
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
Seasoning
- 🧂 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp oligo syrup
- 1 tsp ginger powder or ginger juice
- 1 tbsp tsuyu
- 💧 200 ml water
步驟
Prepare the frozen flounder by rinsing it under running water. Score the fish with an X-shaped cut to allow the seasoning to penetrate.
Prepare the daikon radish by cutting it into bite-sized pieces. For faster cooking, cut into smaller pieces.
In a pot, layer the daikon at the bottom and add all the seasoning ingredients, including 1 tbsp of cooking oil.
Place the flounder neatly on top of the daikon and seasoning mixture. You can add the fish even if it's not fully thawed.
Cover the pot with a lid and bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce to medium-low heat and simmer. Occasionally spoon the sauce over the fish.
Once cooked, transfer the fish and daikon to a plate, pour the sauce over, and serve with rice.
