Main Ingredients
- 🥢 1 block tofu
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🧅 1 green onion
- 2 green chilies
- 2 red chilies
- A small amount of cooking oil
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
Braising Sauce
- 💧 300ml water
- 2 tbsp red pepper powder
- 1 tbsp fermented shrimp
- 1 tbsp anchovy sauce
- 🍬 0.5 tbsp brown sugar
- 🧄 0.5 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- A pinch of black pepper
步驟
Slice the chilies and green onion diagonally.
Mix all the braising sauce ingredients thoroughly to create the sauce.
Cut the tofu into thick, bite-sized pieces.
Heat a pan with a small amount of cooking oil and arrange the tofu slices neatly.
Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the tofu.
Simmer for 7-8 minutes until the tofu absorbs the sauce.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed.
Add the sliced green onion to the center of the pan.
Crack the egg into the center of the pan.
Scatter the sliced chilies around the pan.
Sprinkle black pepper and simmer for another 1-2 minutes.
Serve the tofu and sauce over rice for a hearty meal.
