Pie Dough
- 🧈 210g butter
- 🧂 6 tbsp sugar
- 316g all-purpose flour
- 🥚 12g egg yolk
- 💧 27g water
- 🧂 4g salt
Apple Filling
- 🍎 3 apples
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 🧈 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp raw sugar
- 0.5 tbsp cinnamon powder
步驟
Sift the flour and mix with sugar and salt.
Add butter and mix until crumbly. Then add water and egg yolk to form a dough.
Refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour or up to 1 day.
Prepare apples by removing seeds and peeling as needed. Microwave for 2 minutes to soften.
Dice remaining apples and cook with butter and brown sugar until caramelized.
Roll out the dough and place it into tart pans. Trim excess dough and poke holes with a fork.
Fill the tart with apple filling and arrange microwaved apple slices into rose shapes.
Brush with egg wash and bake at 200°C for 10 minutes, then at 180°C for 35 minutes.
