- 1/2 block tofu
- 🧅 A small amount of chopped green onion
- 1 handful bonito flakes
- 2 cups cornstarch
Sauce Ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 💧 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 🧂 2/3 tbsp sugar
- 1/3 tbsp ginger powder

Cut 1/2 block of tofu into 9 equal pieces.

Pat the tofu dry with a kitchen towel and coat each piece with cornstarch.

Deep-fry the tofu in olive oil over medium heat until golden and crispy.

Top the fried tofu with chopped green onion, bonito flakes, and pour the prepared sauce over.
