  • Vegetables

    • 🥒 2 cucumbers
    • 🧄 3 cloves garlic
    • 🧅 1/2 bunch green onion or chives
    • 1 chili pepper

    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp vinegar
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 2/3 tbsp fish sauce
    • 🧂 1/2 tbsp coarse salt
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly and trim the surface. Cut the green onions or chives into bite-sized pieces.

Cut the cucumbers in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds using a spoon.

Slice the cucumbers thinly and place them in a bowl.

Add 1/2 tbsp of coarse salt to the cucumbers and mix well. Let them sit for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, finely mince the garlic and chop the chili pepper.

Rinse the salted cucumbers in cold water 2-3 times to remove excess salt.

Place the cucumbers in a cloth and squeeze out as much water as possible.

Add the prepared seasonings (soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, fish sauce, sesame oil) and mix well with the cucumbers.

Add the chopped green onions or chives and mix gently.
