Main Ingredients
- 12 pieces firm tofu, sliced
- 🧅 1 stalk white part of green onion
- 1 chili, sliced
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
手順
Slice the tofu into 12 firm pieces and prepare green onion and chili by slicing them finely.
Pan-fry the tofu slices in a non-stick pan until golden and crispy on both sides.
Place the fried tofu back into the pan and add water until the tofu is slightly submerged.
Top the tofu with sliced green onion and chili.
Add the seasonings: red pepper flakes, soy sauce, minced garlic, mirin, and sugar. Stir gently to mix the flavors.
Simmer until the sauce reduces and coats the tofu. Add sesame oil and stir gently.
Serve the braised tofu hot as a side dish or main dish.
