Noodles
- 2 servings naengmyeon noodles
- 1 pack naengmyeon broth
Vegetables
- 🥒 1/3 cucumber, julienned
- small amount pickled radish
Condiments
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 4 tbsp crushed sesame seeds
Protein
- 🥚 1 boiled egg
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp red pepper powder
- 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp plum extract
- 🧅 3 tbsp chopped green onion
- 4 tbsp gochujang
- 4 tbsp vinegar
手順
Freeze the naengmyeon broth in advance for a chilled serving.
Combine red pepper powder, sugar, gochujang, minced garlic, plum extract, soy sauce, and vinegar in a bowl.
Crush sesame seeds using a rolling pin or grinder and add 2 tbsp to the seasoning mix.
Add chopped green onion to the seasoning mix and stir well.
Boil naengmyeon noodles for 2–3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly in cold water.
Drain the noodles and place them in a serving bowl.
Top the noodles with 3 tbsp of the prepared seasoning mix.
Add sesame oil and garnish with julienned cucumber, pickled radish, and a halved boiled egg.
Pour a small ladle of chilled naengmyeon broth over the noodles.
Sprinkle the reserved crushed sesame seeds around the dish.
