    • 1 block tofu
    • 🧂 Pinch of salt
    • Dash of pepper
    • 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
    • 1/2 stalk green onion, sliced
  • Seasoning Ingredients

    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp Korean soy sauce
    • 1.5 tbsp chili powder
    • 1 tbsp corn syrup
    • 2 tbsp cooking wine
    • 3 tbsp water
    • 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic

Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces.

Pat dry the tofu with a kitchen towel and season with salt and pepper.

Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, Korean soy sauce, chili powder, corn syrup, cooking wine, water, and minced garlic.

Slice the onion and green onion thinly.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu on medium-high heat until golden and crispy.

Add sliced onion on top of the tofu.

Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the tofu and onions.

Simmer gently, adding 2-3 tbsp of water if needed, until the tofu absorbs the sauce.
