Shrimp Fried Rice Ingredients
- 🍤 1 handful cocktail shrimp
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🧄 2 cloves garlic
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- A pinch of black pepper
- 🍚 1 bowl cooked rice

Chop the green onion and pat dry the shrimp using a paper towel.
Slice the garlic thinly or use minced garlic if preferred.
Mix the cooled rice with one egg until well combined.
Heat oil generously in a pan, add the chopped green onion, and stir-fry to create aromatic green onion oil. Then add the garlic and sauté briefly.
Add the shrimp to the pan, season with black pepper, and cook until the shrimp is partially done.
Add the rice to the pan and stir-fry until the egg in the rice is cooked. Then add 1 tbsp of oyster sauce and mix well.
Place a few shrimp at the bottom of a bowl, press the fried rice firmly into the bowl, and invert onto a plate for a neat presentation.
