INGREDIENTI
Main Ingredients
- 🥚 270g quail eggs
- 1.5 handfuls shishito peppers
- A pinch of sesame seeds
Seasoning
- 💧 1 cup water
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
PASSI
Rinse the quail eggs under running water to clean them.
Remove the stems from the shishito peppers and rinse them thoroughly.
In a pot, add 1 cup of water and the cleaned quail eggs.
Add the soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and corn syrup to the pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Once the quail eggs start absorbing the soy sauce color, add the shishito peppers.
Simmer on low heat until the sauce reduces and the peppers are well-coated.
Once the sauce thickens and the eggs are evenly colored, the dish is ready.
