INGREDIENTES
Cake Base
- 🧈 90g melted butter
- 🧂 90g organic sugar
- 🥚 2 eggs
- 180g whole wheat flour
- 5g baking powder
- 1g vanilla extract
- 60g yuzu jam
- 🍯 20g honey
- 1 tbsp yuzu jam
Yuzu Icing
- 40g powdered sugar
- 15g yuzu jam
- 🥛 8 tbsp milk
PASOS
Mix melted butter, room-temperature eggs, and sugar with a whisk until well combined.
Sift flour and baking powder, then add vanilla extract and mix lightly.
Add yuzu jam, honey, and milk to the mixture.
Mix until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
Pour the batter into a pound cake mold and bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 45 minutes.
While the cake is baking, prepare the icing by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and yuzu jam.
Let the baked cake cool completely before serving. It tastes better after one or two days.
