  • Sauce

    • 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 2 tbsp corn syrup
    • 💧 2 tbsp water

Prepare ground beef by seasoning it with soy sauce, mirin, grated onion, corn syrup, sugar, minced garlic, chopped green onion, glutinous rice flour, ground pepper, and sesame oil. Knead the mixture until sticky.

Cut tteokbokki rice cakes into bite-sized pieces.

Wrap the seasoned beef mixture around each piece of rice cake, ensuring the rice cake is completely covered.

Cook the wrapped rice cakes in an oven at 180°C for 15–25 minutes, checking periodically.

Prepare the sauce by boiling soy sauce, mirin, corn syrup, and water until thickened.

Brush the sauce over the cooked tteokgalbi or serve it on the side.
