INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🍖 1 cup ground beef
- 2 cups gochujang
- 🧅 3 cups chopped onion
- 🧅 1 cup chopped green onion
- 🧄 1/3 cup minced garlic
- 🍬 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
PASOS
Heat a pan over low heat and add 1 cup olive oil, 3 cups chopped onion, and 1 cup chopped green onion. Stir-fry over medium-low heat.
Add 1 cup ground beef to the pan and stir to prevent clumping. Pork can be used as a substitute.
Add 1/3 cup minced garlic and continue stir-frying over medium heat. Allow the moisture to evaporate while stirring.
Once the moisture has mostly evaporated, add 1/2 cup sugar and stir well.
Add 2 cups gochujang and 2 tbsp soy sauce, pouring the soy sauce along the edges of the pan for a caramelized aroma. Mix thoroughly.
Reduce the heat to low and stir-fry for at least 10 minutes to remove excess moisture and deepen the flavor.
Transfer the stir-fried gochujang to a container, let it cool, and store in the refrigerator. Serve with rice or use as a condiment for wraps.
