INGREDIENTES

  • Main Ingredients

    • 🦑 2 cleaned squids
    • 🧅 1/2 sliced onion
    • 🧅 2 chopped green onions
    • 15 chopped perilla leaves
    • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • Sauce Ingredients

    • 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
    • 0.5 tbsp gochujang
    • 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
    • 2 tbsp chili powder
    • 3 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp anchovy sauce
    • 0.5 tbsp corn syrup
    • 0.5 tbsp sesame oil
    • A pinch of sesame seeds

PASOS

1

Clean the squid by removing the innards and washing thoroughly under running water.

2

Heat 2 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan and sauté the chopped green onions to make green onion oil.

3

Add the sliced onion to the pan and stir-fry until the onion becomes translucent.

4

Add 1 tbsp of sugar to the pan and mix well.

5

Add the cleaned squid to the pan and stir-fry.

6

Add all sauce ingredients except sesame oil: 0.5 tbsp gochujang, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 2 tbsp chili powder, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp anchovy sauce, and 0.5 tbsp corn syrup.

7

Stir-fry until the squid is cooked and the sauce is absorbed. Add a little water if necessary, but squid naturally releases moisture.

8

Once the squid is fully cooked, add the chopped perilla leaves and mix well.

9

Finish by drizzling 0.5 tbsp of sesame oil and sprinkling sesame seeds.

10

Serve the stir-fried squid in a bowl. The dish pairs perfectly with rice.
