INGREDIENTES
Fish
- 🐟 2 mackerel fillets
Condiments
- 🧂 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
Vegetables
- 🧄 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
Oils
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
PASOS
Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add the mackerel fillets skin-side down and sear for 2-3 minutes until golden.
Remove the fish and set aside. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant.
Add soy sauce, mirin, and sugar to the pan, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Return the mackerel to the pan and spoon the sauce over the fillets. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Serve the mackerel with the sauce drizzled on top, paired with steamed rice or vegetables.
