INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🍚 1 serving of cooked rice
- 🥓 2 strips of pork belly
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 🧅 1/3 cup chopped green onion
- 🥚 1 egg yolk
- 1 pinch of sesame seeds
Sauce Ingredients
- 💧 1 cup of water
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 0.5 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 pinch of ginger powder
PASOS
Chop the green onion and slice the onion. Soak the onion slices in cold water to reduce their sharpness.
Mix water, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, mirin, and ginger powder in a bowl until the sugar dissolves completely.
Pan-fry the pork belly strips until cooked and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
Pour the prepared sauce into the pan with the pork. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium heat and simmer for 7 minutes.
Simmer on low heat for an additional 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Place cooked rice in a bowl, top with drained onion slices, pork, green onion, and egg yolk.
Drizzle the reduced sauce over the dish and serve.
Break the egg yolk and mix it with the rice and pork for a creamy texture.
