    • 9 pieces rice cake

    • 💧 1/2 cup water
    • 5 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp corn syrup
    • 🧂 1.5 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

If the rice cakes are hard, boil them briefly to soften and drain the water. Chop the onion and carrot finely, and drain the oil from the canned salmon.

Mix breadcrumbs, chopped onion, carrot, egg, and potato starch in a bowl to create a dough. Adjust seasoning if desired.

Take a portion of the dough, place a rice cake on top, and mold it into a patty shape.

Heat a pan with cooking oil on medium-low heat and cook the patties until golden brown on both sides.

Prepare the sauce by mixing water, soy sauce, corn syrup, sugar, and oyster sauce in a bowl.

Pour the sauce over the cooked patties in the pan and simmer on medium heat. Spoon the sauce over the patties occasionally.
