    • 200g tofu, pressed to remove water
    • 🥕 1/2 cup grated carrot
    • 2 tbsp cornstarch
    • 🧅 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
    • 🍄 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
    • 1/4 cup diced paprika
    • 🥦 1/4 cup chopped broccoli
  • Seasonings

    • 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
    • 1 tbsp oligosaccharide syrup
    • 1/2 tsp parsley flakes

Drain the tuna completely and press the tofu using a cloth to remove excess water. Place the tuna, tofu, and finely chopped vegetables into a mixing bowl.

If the mixture feels too wet, add some flour or more cornstarch to bind it. Shape into patties.

Cook the patties on medium-low heat in a pan until golden brown on both sides.

To make the sauce, combine soy sauce, oligosaccharide syrup, and ketchup in a pan. Add roughly chopped vegetables and cook until tender. Thicken with a cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water).

Pour the sweet sauce over the tofu tuna steaks and serve.
