    • 1 cleaned octopus
    • 🥕 1 carrot, sliced
    • 🧅 1 onion, sliced
    • 2 red chilies, sliced
    • 2 green chilies, sliced
    • 🧄 10 garlic cloves, halved
    • 2 strips of rice cake
    • 🧅 2 spring onions, chopped
  • Seasoning

    • 9 tbsp chili powder
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp sugar
    • 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
    • 2 tbsp water
    • 🧄 6 tbsp minced garlic
    • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

PASOS

Blanch the cleaned octopus in boiling water for 3 seconds, then rinse in cold water.

Cut off the octopus head, remove the innards and eyes, and slice the tentacles into 10cm pieces.

Mix chili powder (4 tbsp), soy sauce (2 tbsp), sugar (1 tbsp), sesame oil (1/2 tbsp), and water (1-2 tbsp) in a bowl to create the marinade.

Add the marinade to the prepared octopus and mix in minced garlic (6-7 tbsp).

Add sliced vegetables (carrot, onion, red chili, green chili) and mix in additional chili powder (4-5 tbsp).

Heat a pan on high heat and stir-fry the marinated octopus, vegetables, halved garlic cloves, and rice cake strips quickly without adding water.

If the dish feels dry, add water; if bland, add soy sauce. Finish by adding spring onions, sesame oil (1 tbsp), and sesame seeds (1 tbsp).
