  • Bread

    • 🍞 1 ciabatta bread
  • Cheese / Dairy

    • 🧀 Mozzarella cheese, as needed
  • Vegetables

    • 🍄 1 handful of mushrooms
    • 🧅 1 handful of sliced onion
  • Seasoning

    • 0.5 tbsp oyster sauce
    • A pinch of black pepper

Slice the ciabatta bread in half and prepare mushrooms by cutting them into pieces. Slice the onion thinly.

Heat a pan with a little oil, add the onion and mushrooms, and sauté until partially cooked. Add oyster sauce and black pepper, then continue cooking until the onion softens.

Toast the inner sides of the ciabatta bread lightly on a grill pan and spread mayonnaise on both inner sides.

Layer mozzarella cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and another layer of mozzarella cheese on the ciabatta bread.

Cover with the top half of the bread and press down firmly using a plate to mimic grill marks.

Slice the panini and serve on a plate.
