    • 5 bunches perilla leaves
    • 10g fried anchovies
    • 🧅 1 piece green onion
    • 1 green chili
    • 1/2 red chili
  • Seasoning Ingredients

    • 4 tbsp soy sauce
    • 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp chili powder
    • 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
    • A pinch of sesame seeds
    • 1 tbsp perilla oil
    • 💧 3 tbsp water

Wash the perilla leaves and remove excess water. Prepare the fried anchovies by removing their heads and guts.

Finely chop the green onion.

Finely chop the green chili and red chili.

In a small bowl, mix the seasoning ingredients with the chopped green onion and chilies.

In a microwave-safe container, layer fried anchovies at the bottom, then add 3-4 perilla leaves. Spread the seasoning mixture on top and repeat the layering process.

Cover the container with a lid and microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Alternatively, cover with plastic wrap and poke a few holes for steam release.
