INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 200g ground pork
Vegetables
- 1/2 lotus root, finely chopped
- 🥕 1/4 carrot, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
Seasonings
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp rice wine
Binding
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
Sauce
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 tbsp rice wine
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
PASOS
Season the ground pork with salt, pepper, and rice wine. Mix well and set aside.
Finely chop the lotus root, carrot, and green chili.
Combine the ground pork, chopped vegetables, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, and additional salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Shape the mixture into small round meatballs.
Heat a pan with a small amount of oil and pan-fry the meatballs until golden brown on all sides.
Prepare the sauce by combining soy sauce, corn syrup, sesame oil, rice wine, and oyster sauce in a bowl.
Add the sauce to the pan and bring it to a simmer.
Add the meatballs to the simmering sauce and cook until they are fully coated and the sauce thickens.
