INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 600g konjac
- 5 sheets fish cake
- 2 green chilies
Seasonings
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice syrup
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 700ml water
- 1 tbsp oligosaccharide
- A pinch of sesame seeds
PASOS
Prepare all ingredients. Note: rice syrup can be substituted with oligosaccharide or sugar (use 1 tbsp if substituting with sugar).
Slice konjac into 3–4mm thick pieces and cut fish cake into bite-sized pieces.
Make decorative cuts on the konjac by leaving 5mm on both ends and flipping the middle part into a twisted shape.
Boil konjac with 1 tbsp vinegar for 2 minutes to remove its distinct smell.
Blanch the fish cake in boiling water for 1 minute.
In a pot, combine konjac, fish cake, green chilies, water, soy sauce, mirin, and rice syrup. Simmer until the liquid reduces.
Once the liquid thickens, add oligosaccharide and stir well.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve.
