INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 500g chicken thigh
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 2 handfuls cabbage
Optional Ingredients
- 🥕 1/2 carrot
- 🥔 1 potato
- 2 green chilies
- assorted vegetables
Seasoning
- 3 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 3 tbsp cooking wine
- a pinch of black pepper
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
PASOS
Cut chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Prepare the marinade by mixing gochujang, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, cooking wine, black pepper, salt, and sesame oil.
Marinate the chicken in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
Slice onion, carrot, potato, and cabbage. Optionally, chop green chilies.
Heat a pan with 2 rounds of cooking oil and stir-fry the marinated chicken.
Once the chicken starts releasing juices, add all vegetables except cabbage and pour 1/2 cup of water.
When the potatoes are cooked, add cabbage and stir-fry until desired tenderness.
Serve hot and enjoy the spicy, sweet, and savory flavors of Dak Galbi.
