PASOS
Season 300g of ground Korean beef with 1/2 tsp pepper and 1/2 tsp salt.
Shape the beef into thick burger patties, approximately 2cm thick.
Heat a pan with 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 small piece of butter over low heat.
Cook the patties in the pan, flipping only once after one side is fully cooked.
Transfer the patties to a grill or use a torch to add a smoky flavor.
Place 2 slices of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover with a lid to melt the cheese.
Mix 1 tbsp mayonnaise and 1 tbsp sriracha sauce to create a spicy burger sauce.
Spread the sauce on one side of the burger buns. Optionally, add 1/2 tbsp mustard.
Layer lettuce, onion slices, tomato slices, chicory leaves, and the beef patty with melted cheese on the bun.
Top with the other half of the bun to complete the burger.
