  • Bread

    • 🍞 2 slices bread
  • Cereal

    • 🌽 2 cups crushed cornflakes
  • Butter / Oil

    • 🧈 Adequate amount of butter
    • Adequate amount of cooking oil
  • Egg Mixture

    • 🥚 1 egg
    • 🥛 100 ml milk
    • 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • 3 drops vanilla essence
    • 🧂 1 pinch salt

Place cornflakes in a bag and crush them using your palm or fist. Transfer to a wide plate.

In a bowl, mix all egg mixture ingredients well. Dip the bread slices into the mixture. For stale bread, soak for 5-7 seconds; for fresh bread, dip briefly.

Remove bread from the egg mixture and coat both sides evenly with crushed cornflakes.

Heat a pan over low heat and add butter or cooking oil. Once melted, cook the bread slices until golden brown on both sides.
