    • 1/2 block tofu
    • 100g beef brisket
    • 🍄 10 button mushrooms
    • 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion

    • 1 tbsp chili oil
    • A dash of cooking oil
    • A dash of sesame oil
    • A dash of black pepper
    • A dash of sesame seeds
    • 🧂 A dash of salt
  • Sauce Ingredients

    • 💧 1 cup water
    • 3 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp Korean soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp fish sauce
    • 2 tbsp chili powder
    • 1 tbsp gochujang
    • 🧄 0.5 tbsp minced garlic
    • 2 tbsp corn syrup
    • 0.5 tbsp cooking wine
    • 1 tbsp plum extract

PASOS

Prepare all ingredients by slicing tofu into 0.5 cm thick pieces, chopping green onion, and halving the mushrooms.

Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl to create the braising sauce.

Heat a pan with cooking oil and lightly pan-fry the tofu until golden on both sides.

Add chili oil to the pan and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

Add beef brisket and 3 tbsp of the sauce to the pan, cooking until the beef loses its pink color.

Place the fried tofu on top of the beef in the pan.

Add half of the remaining sauce and layer mushrooms on top.

Pour the rest of the sauce over the ingredients, cover the pan, and simmer on medium-low heat for 5-10 minutes.

Once the sauce has reduced, adjust seasoning with salt if necessary.

Finish by adding green onion, sesame oil, black pepper, and sesame seeds before serving.
