INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🥩 100g thinly sliced beef
 - 1/2 burdock root, shaved
 - 🧅 1/3 green onion, thinly sliced
 
Seasoning
- 1 tsp sesame oil
 - 🧂 2 tsp soy sauce
 - 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
 
Broth
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
 - 💧 500ml water
 - 1 tsp Japanese dashi powder
 - 🍶 1 tbsp sake
 
PASOS
Shave the burdock root and soak it in water to remove bitterness, then drain. Thinly slice the green onion diagonally.
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until the color changes, then add the burdock root and stir-fry together.
Once the burdock root is coated with oil, add the broth ingredients (water, dashi powder, grated ginger, and sake). Cover the pot and simmer over medium-low heat until the burdock root softens.
Add the green onion and soy sauce, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
