INGREDIENTES
Pie Dough
- 🧈 100g butter
- 200g all-purpose flour
- 🧂 3g salt
- 🍬 10g sugar
- 💧 75g water
Apple Filling
- 🍎 2 apples
- 🍬 100g sugar
- 🌰 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Other Ingredients
- 💧 Adequate amount of water
- 🍬 A pinch of sugar
- 🥚 1 egg yolk
PASOS
Sift the flour and mix with butter until crumbly.
Mix water, sugar, and salt until dissolved, then gradually add to the flour mixture to form a dough.
Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
Dice apples into 1cm cubes.
Prepare a sugar-water solution to prevent apple discoloration and soak the diced apples.
Drain apples and mix with sugar over low heat.
Add cinnamon powder and cornstarch, stirring well. Let the filling cool.
Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes. Add filling and seal edges with water.
Brush the top with egg yolk and bake at 170°C for 20–25 minutes.
Cool the apple pie before serving for better flavor.
