Main Ingredients
- 1 pack tteokbokki rice cakes
- 5 sheets fish cakes
- 🧅 1 onion
- 2 stalks green onion
- 8 perilla leaves
- 💧 400ml water
- 🥚 2 boiled eggs
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
步骤
Prepare the ingredients. Soak refrigerated or frozen rice cakes in cold water if needed.
Slice perilla leaves thinly for garnish.
Boil water in a pan. You can use broth or soup base for added flavor.
Add all seasonings except red pepper flakes to the boiling water and let it boil again.
Add prepared vegetables (except perilla leaves) to the pan.
Add rice cakes, fish cakes, and boiled eggs to the pan and cook.
Once the sauce is boiling, add red pepper flakes and mix well.
Cook until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients evenly.
Garnish with sliced perilla leaves and serve hot.
