Vegetables
- 200g radish, sliced
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 3 green chilies, sliced
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 🧄 2 stalks green onion, sliced
Seasonings
- 0.5 tbsp gochujang
- 4 tbsp chili powder
- 🧄 3 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice wine
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 💧 3 cups water
步骤
Slice radish into 1cm thick pieces and prepare other vegetables.
Make cuts on the yellow croakers to help absorb the seasoning.
Prepare the sauce by mixing garlic, ginger, soy sauce, gochujang, corn syrup, rice wine, chili powder, and water.
Place yellow croakers in a pan and add sliced onion around them.
Pour the prepared sauce over the fish and vegetables.
Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes, skimming off foam occasionally.
Add sliced chilies and green onion, then cover and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Spoon sauce over the fish and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Serve the spicy braised yellow croaker hot as a main dish or side dish.
