- 🍄 10 shiitake mushrooms
- 1-3 green chilies
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 💧 1.5 cups water
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp plum extract
步骤
Remove the stems from the mushrooms and cut green chilies in half. If cooking for children, omit the chilies or use fewer for less spice.
Combine the seasoning ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
Add the mushrooms and chilies to the boiling sauce and simmer until reduced.
Once the sauce is mostly reduced, add sesame oil and corn syrup, and simmer further.
Leave a small amount of sauce if preferred, or reduce completely for a drier dish.
