Wash the radish thoroughly and slice it into round pieces of medium thickness.

Julienne the radish slices into thin strips using a knife.

Mix the radish strips with 4 tbsp sugar and 0.5 tbsp salt.

Add 5 tbsp chili powder to the radish and mix until the radish turns red and absorbs the liquid.
