    • 1 block tofu
    • 🧅 1/2 onion
    • 🥚 2 eggs
    • 2 green chilies
    • 10 cm green onion

    • 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
    • 1.5 tbsp chili powder
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 3 tbsp soy sauce
    • A pinch of sesame seeds
    • 💧 1 cup water
  • Tofu Marinade

    • 🧂 A pinch of salt
    • A pinch of pepper

步骤

Chop onion, green onion, and green chilies. Mix minced garlic, chili powder, sugar, soy sauce, water, and sesame seeds to create the sauce.

Season tofu with salt and pepper. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Heat oil in a pan and fry tofu until golden brown on both sides.

Transfer fried tofu to a pot and pour the prepared sauce over it.

Simmer the tofu in the sauce until it is well absorbed. Add more water for a milder taste if desired.

Add eggs to the pot near the end of cooking. Cook until egg yolks are slightly set.

Serve the braised tofu with eggs. Break the yolks when eating for added flavor.
