Main Ingredients
- 1 block tofu
- 1 green chili
- 1 red chili
- 3 stalks spring onion
- 🧅 1/2 red onion
- 🧅 1/2 onion
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oligo syrup
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
BƯỚC
Cut the tofu into square pieces and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Slice the onions thinly and chop the green and red chilies and spring onions finely.
Heat a pan with enough cooking oil and fry the tofu on both sides until golden brown.
In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Mix gochujang, chili powder, and oligo syrup in the pan and cook until bubbling. Reduce the heat to low.
Add the sliced onions and stir-fry until they soften and become translucent.
Place the fried tofu into the pan and coat it evenly with the sauce. Flip the tofu and spoon the onions over it to allow the flavors to soak in.
Add the chopped green and red chilies, spring onions, and drizzle sesame oil over the dish. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
