    • 🐙 200g boiled octopus
    • 150g shishito peppers
  • Seasoning Sauce

    • 🧂 5 tbsp soy sauce
    • 💧 1/2 cup water
    • 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • 2 tbsp corn syrup
    • 1 tbsp rice wine
    • 2 tbsp cooking wine
    • 🌰 a pinch of sesame seeds
    • a pinch of black pepper
  • Final Seasoning

    • 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion
    • 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic

Wash the boiled octopus and shishito peppers. Remove the stems from the peppers and slice the octopus into thick pieces.

Prepare the seasoning sauce by mixing soy sauce, water, sugar, corn syrup, rice wine, cooking wine, sesame seeds, and black pepper.

Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry the octopus first.

Add the shishito peppers to the pan and stir-fry together.

Pour the prepared seasoning sauce into the pan and reduce the heat to simmer.

Cook until the sauce is almost fully reduced.

Add the chopped green onion and minced garlic, mix well, and turn off the heat.
