    • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 1 tbsp perilla oil
    • a pinch of sesame seeds
  • Seasoning Sauce

    • 3 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp chili powder
    • 1 tbsp oligosaccharide
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 1 tbsp perilla oil
    • 0.5 tbsp sugar
    • 🧄 0.5 tbsp minced garlic
    • 2 tbsp minced green onion
    • 1 tbsp minced chili pepper
    • 1/3 cup water

Slice the tofu into flat pieces and sprinkle with salt to remove moisture and enhance flavor.

Finely chop green onion and chili pepper. Adjust chili pepper quantity for less spice if serving to children.

Mix soy sauce, chili powder, oligosaccharide, mirin, perilla oil, sugar, minced garlic, green onion, and chili pepper to make the seasoning sauce.

Pat the salted tofu dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Heat vegetable oil and perilla oil in a pan over medium heat.

Pan-fry the tofu on medium heat until golden brown on one side.

Flip the tofu and cook the other side until golden brown.

Pour the prepared seasoning sauce over the tofu and reduce heat to medium-low.

Add 1/3 cup of water to the sauce and simmer until the liquid reduces and thickens.
