- 茄子 2 eggplants
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 1/3 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion

Remove the stems from the eggplants, wash them, and cut them into 2–3 pieces. Make cross-shaped cuts on each piece.
Steam the eggplants in a steamer for about 3 minutes until tender.
Let the steamed eggplants cool naturally without rinsing them in cold water.
Mix soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, chili powder, sesame seeds, and chopped green onion to create the seasoning sauce.
Tear the cooled eggplants into strips, add the seasoning sauce, and mix well by hand.
