- 🌱 6 stalks asparagus (120g)
 - 1 chili pepper
 - 1 bay leaf
 
Seasonings
- 🍬 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
 - 🧂 1 tsp salt
 - 50ml vinegar
 - 💧 50ml water

Trim the ends of the asparagus, peel the lower half with a peeler, and cut into thirds. Remove seeds from the chili pepper.
Mix the seasonings (sugar, salt, vinegar, and water) in a microwave-safe container. Add asparagus, chili pepper, and bay leaf. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 1 minute 30 seconds.
Cover with plastic wrap as a drop lid and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least half a day before serving.
