- 🥬 1 cup aged kimchi
Seasoning
- 1/2 cup kimchi juice
- 🧂 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp perilla oil

Prepare aged kimchi and canned mackerel. Do not rinse the kimchi seasoning.
Spread kimchi leaves flat, place mackerel on top, and roll tightly.
Arrange the rolls neatly in a pot. Add kimchi juice, sugar, and perilla oil until partially submerged.
Simmer gently, occasionally spooning the liquid over the rolls for added flavor and shine.
Let the dish cool slightly, slice into bite-sized pieces, and serve.
For a spicier version, add chopped chili peppers during cooking.
