    • 🧈 300g tofu
    • 200g bean sprouts
    • 🧅 1/4 onion
    • 1 handful green onion
    • 1 green chili
    • a bit of red chili
    • 🥚 1 egg
    • 💧 1 paper cup water
  • Seasoning

    • 4 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
    • 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
    • 1/2 tbsp corn syrup
    • 1 tbsp cooking wine
    • 2 tbsp chili powder
    • 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
    • a bit of black pepper
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • a bit of sesame seeds

Wash the bean sprouts thoroughly and drain the water.

Cut the tofu into slices of appropriate thickness.

Pat the tofu dry with kitchen towels.

Sprinkle a bit of salt on both sides of the tofu.

Slice the onion, green onion, and green chili into appropriate sizes.

Mix the seasoning ingredients in a bowl to create the sauce.

Layer the bean sprouts at the bottom of a shallow pot, followed by onion slices.

Place the tofu slices on top and pour the prepared sauce over them. Add 1 paper cup of water around the edges.

Bring the pot to a boil and stir the sauce occasionally, spooning it over the tofu.

Add green onion and green chili, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer.

Crack an egg into the pot, cover with a lid, and cook for about 3 minutes.
