Main Ingredients
- 400g garaetteok
Seasonings
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 tbsp red pepper powder
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp oligosaccharide
- 🧅 to taste chopped green onion

Prepare all ingredients. If using syrup instead of oligosaccharide, reduce the amount to avoid excessive sweetness.
Soak frozen garaetteok in water until softened.
Add 2 tbsp of red pepper powder. Adjust to 1.5 tbsp if you prefer less spice.
Heat 3 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan. Use any neutral oil like canola oil.
Add 2 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tbsp sugar to the pan.
Add 1 tbsp oligosaccharide or syrup. Stir gently over low heat.
Add soaked garaetteok and chopped green onion to the pan. Stir-fry gently.
Simmer until the sauce thickens and the garaetteok is chewy.
