Sift the cake flour and baking powder, then fold them into the mixture using a cutting motion to form the dough. Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls and roll them in sugar.

Place the dough balls on a baking tray, flatten slightly, and bake in a preheated oven at 170–180°C for 10–15 minutes. Optionally, press lightly with a spatula mid-baking for better cracks.
