Stir-fried Fish Cake and Vegetables

  • Main Ingredients

    • 3 sheets flat fish cake
    • 1/2 king oyster mushroom
    • 🧅 1/4 onion, sliced
    • 🥕 1/5 carrot, sliced
    • 1/2 green onion, chopped
    • 1/2 green chili, chopped
  • Seasonings

    • 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
    • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp corn syrup
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tbsp chili powder
    • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
    • A pinch of black pepper
    • A pinch of sesame seeds

ШАГИ

Cut the fish cake into strips, slice the onion, carrot, and king oyster mushroom. Chop the green onion and green chili.

Heat a pan with 2 tbsp vegetable oil and sauté 1/2 tbsp minced garlic to create garlic oil.

Add the sliced onion, carrot, and king oyster mushroom to the pan and stir-fry over medium heat.

Add the fish cake strips to the pan and stir-fry until coated with garlic oil.

Lower the heat to medium-low and add 1/2 tbsp sugar, stirring well.

Add 1 tbsp corn syrup and mix thoroughly.

Pour in 2 tbsp soy sauce and stir-fry until evenly coated.

Sprinkle 1/2 tbsp chili powder and mix well. Increase the heat to medium and stir-fry.

Finish by adding 1/2 tbsp sesame oil and a pinch of sesame seeds. Mix well and serve.
