Potato Braise
- 🥔 2 medium potatoes
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 💧 300 ml water
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
ШАГИ
Cut 2 medium potatoes into bite-sized pieces for better seasoning absorption.
Soak the potato pieces in water for 10 minutes to remove starch.
Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, corn syrup, chili powder, and minced garlic to create the seasoning.
Heat cooking oil in a frying pan and sauté the potatoes over medium heat for 2–3 minutes.
Reduce to low heat, add water and the prepared seasoning, and mix well.
Cover the pan and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
Switch to medium heat and stir gently to thicken the sauce.
Increase to high heat and reduce the sauce until almost dry, stirring continuously.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve warm.
